Over at OrangePolitics, our local politics blog in Chapel Hill the home of the Univesity of North Carolina, recent graduate Tom Jensen wondered How to bring more prominent liberals to UNC. This was in response to John Ashcrofts visit to UNC’s Memorial Hall.
I suggest that “prominent liberal” should be Noam Chomsky. The UNC community needs to hear what he has to say. So UNC student groups interested in bringing Mr. Chomsky to campus let me know how I can help you. I don’t have a bunch of money but I’ve lots of other skills.
