Owls Hooting Again

Its so wonderful to hear our neighbors the owls hooting again. Its been so hot the trees have been loosing their leaves early. I was fearful for the poor owls. I wonder how they deal with the drought here in NC? A small amount of googling has turned up some info on the droughts effect on the Owls food supply. Maybe their calls mean their hunting is good.
